Kind of funny to have an international day for this. As one person pointed out that the dead of winter is probably not the best time to celebrate a day dedicated to an activity that has been all but banished to the outdoors. And really...do I need another reason smoke my pipe. I guess I have a new one! Oh and my friend Van just posted a few thoughts on pipe smoking by Bach. Maybe a nice bowl while listing to some of his wonderful music (by the Academy of Ancient Music of course) would be a nice way to celebrate the day.
